Adirty brush can be very harmful on your skin, as it carries bacteria that can induce breakout (not cute). Below is how I clean my brushes:
Start with warm water and mild shampoo |
Submerge the brush into the water and swish around |
To make sure your brush is clean, replace the bowl with clean water and swirl the brush around. The water should remain clear with a clean brush |
Squeeze out the excess water |
Place brush on the edge of the counter to let it air dry and to drain any water *NOTE: A wet brush standing up causes the water to flow downward and may loosen the glue in the brush* |
Thanks for the reminder! Instead of using the shampoo I bought for my hair, I save and use the ones that are supplied by hotels when I visit.
