Bougie Girl's World: Minkettes, Essie Polish, and Champagne for everyone!

Heeeeeey, guys! I missed you. No, seriously missed you. Anywhoo, it went down in Raleigh, NC on yesterday! Raleigh? Yep, RALEIGH! So, I was invited to attend a Saks Fifth Avenue, “Girls Night Out” event. The cool thing about this event was that I, along with Triangle Fashion Rundown, was able to get an on-camera interview with the guest of honor! Who, you might ask? I’ll give you a clue: She is known for designing the ever so popular, “Morning After Bag!” YES, Rebecca Minkoff!

My first-ever on-air interview was with one of the world’s most notable fashion designers. We chatted about fashion, of course, and she complimented my earrings. She seriously was the nicest person in the world! More about the interview will come in another post, so for now, it’s all about the event.

The Saks team decided to have an after party for Rebecca, which included her signing autographs and taking pics, and models wearing garments from her spring collection. The room was filled with gorgeous Bougie Girls…and boys, all looking to have a good time. As the line formed with stylish Minkettes (coined-term for a Rebecca Minkoff fan) to meet the American designer, others enjoyed the latest hits by an in-house DJ, a mani station by Synergy Spa & Aesthetics, a ponytail bar (how cute is that?), and Laura Mercier makeovers, all while enjoying hors d’oeuvres, and plenty of champagne!

I’m telling you, on a Wednesday afternoon/evening, I was somewhere getting MY LIFE!
