Okay...Fall 2014 has some pretty cool options to looking like you just stepped off the runway! I showed up, along with a few students from the UNCG Consumer, Apparel and Retail Studies Dept, at FOX 8 studios, Thursday morning with five trends that I'm in love with.
1. Leopard Print - Leopard shows up often, and has moved into that classic look category, but this Fall, the animal print has taken on a huge feminine approach that it's safe to say, it's pretty!
2. Poncho/Cape - Another element to provide chicness to your outerwear! Here, in NC, we have long summers, shorter winters, AND we love our football. The poncho or capes allows you to stay warm without looking so bundled.
3 & 4. Chunky sweaters and Midi Skirts - The chunky sweaters are such a huge trend. Whether it's cropped or oversized, it is a MUST in your closet. And so is the midi skirt. Such an appealing length that instantly takes you to ladylike!
5. Denim - From Skinny and Boyfriend ripped jeans to wide-leg trousers, the very presence of denim will be seen in more flattering ways than one!
